Inara Scott was born and raised in the Pacific Northwest. She is a graduate of Gonzaga University with a BA in Humanities and a minor in Children's Literature. Her first novel, The Spanish Princess, won the 2006 RITA award for Best First Novel and was named one of the 100 Best Books for Young Adults by the American Library Association. Her second novel, The Wind Through the Keyhole, was released by Harlequin TEEN on October 30, 2010.
